Thin hair? Create volume in your hair easily with these products!
A beautiful head of hair full of volume, of course everyone wants that! Unfortunately, volume can sometimes be hard to create when you have thin hair. Fortunately, there are a lot of products that can boost your hair and make it look voluminous. In this blog I share some hair products and tips to help you create volume in no time.
Volume shampoo
It is important to clean your hair properly so that no residue of hair products remains in your hair. When washing your hair, use a volume shampoo instead of a normal shampoo. These shampoos are designed to give your hair volume and you will see results immediately.
Another smart washing tip: start with conditioner and finish with shampoo. As conditioner is very nourishing, it can also make hair heavier. If you use conditioner first, you will make sure your hair stays light and voluminous.
Dry shampoo
Dry shampoo not only provides the solution against greasy roots, but also gives your hair more body and volume! Spray some dry shampoo on the roots of your hair, massage it in with your fingertips and there you go: say hello to that volume boost.
Mousse
Hair mousse allows you to add volume to your hair quickly and easily. Apply some mousse after washing and drying your hair and you'll find that you have extra volume and shine after blow-drying. We list some favourites:
Volume powder
Volume powder is basically magic in a jar! You only need a tiny bit of this product to create a lot of volume. Shake a little bit (especially not too much) of powder at your hair roots, work it in with your fingertips and you can enjoy volume in your hair all day long.
Tips & tricks
Besides using volumising hair products, there are a number of other ways you can create volume in your hair. I am happy to share them with you:
- Blow-dry your hair upside down
- Tease the roots of your hair
- Have layers cut
- Use curling irons to create voluminous curls in your hair
- Avoid using too much conditioner
- Do not brush your hair too much
- Wear your hair in a different way on a regular basis
Which products do you prefer to use to create volume in your hair? I would love to hear from you!
Love,
Milou
