Havu means in Finnish, a twig or needle from an evergreen tree. Thus, the brand stands for pure cosmetics and being one with nature. The simplicity of their product is inspired by the cool Finnish waters, quiet forests, pristine snow blankets and clear morning air. The brand was founded with the goal: to create quality cosmetics that are one throughout the production process until the end of consumption, without damaging nature in the process. This has been achieved!

How did Havu cosmetics come about

Lumi Maunuvaara is the owner of this fine, natural brand. During her summer course at Aalto University, she started developing these fine products thanks to her interest in chemistry, cosmetics and design. Thus the lipstick made of natural ingredients in a beautiful wooden holder was born. Thus, she created something sustainable yet luxurious at the same time. Together with co-founder Tatu Fontell, the name HAVU came about and they developed a pilot batch where everything sold out within 24 hours of the launch. Today, HAVU consists of a large team and they work with passion and enthusiasm to sell their products that they stand behind 100%.

Havu cosmetics lip balm

The HAVU Cosmetics Lip Balm is suitable for daily use. Thanks to the moisturising shea butter and natural oils from avocado and almond, it ensures hydrated lips that feel silky smooth. Tip: combine with your favourite Havu lipstick to keep your lips healthy and moisturised. The lip balm is vegan, cruelty-free and packed with natural ingredients.

Havu cosmetics lip scrub

The HAVU Cosmetics Lip Scrub contains natural birch bark. Keep your lips wonderfully soft with this natural lip scrub. The exfoliating lip scrub contains 60% natural oils. It has a lovely fresh and woody scent and makes annoying skins disappear. It is also suitable for removing make-up from your lips. The lip scrub contains only natural ingredients that are COSMOS approved. In addition, the ingredients are organic, vegan and cruelty-free.
