Hey you, are you an Olaplex fan? Then read on, because I'll tell you everything you need to know about Olaplex Number 8. Of course you can find all kinds of products for your hair routine within Olaplex but a mask was still missing within the Olaplex family. But here it is, the Olaplex hair mask has been in development for no less than four years! This of course says something about the product, the expectations are high ;). The Olaplex No. 8 hair mask is a 4-in-1 mask. It provides twice the shine, four times the hydration, makes hair six times softer and gives 94% more volume. What does Olaplex do?
Everyone knows the name, but what are they actually known for? Olaplex repairs damaged hair from the inside out thanks to its patented single ingredient: bis-amino diglycol dimaleate. But what happens when your hair is damaged? Your hair contains millions of sulphur bonds (connections) that make your hair strong and give it stability. When this breaks, damage occurs. Olaplex repairs this as mentioned above. When all sulphur bonds connect well, the result is healthy, shiny, strong and beautiful hair! Even when your hair is healthy, Olaplex is always a must-have.

Review Olaplex No. 8
I would like to share with you an honest review of the new Olaplex hair mask. First of all, I think it's mega conveniently packaged. Do you this: you are in the shower and you have to unscrew the lid of your hair mask, it is slippery and it sometimes slips out of your hands? This is not the case with Olaplex No. 8, not at all, you just grab it and pump out some easily, this is great! Before I started using it, I obviously had high expectations as the other Olaplex variants already work wonders for your hair and they have been developing them for four years. But I can tell you that I am mega excited about the new hair mask, it works just fantastic! I use it myself once or twice a week now and after using it my hair is wonderfully soft, my hair colour comes back to life, dull tones have disappeared and then as the icing on the cake the shine... your hair feels just like new ;). When you use the mask, it is not only visible that day but also the days after you will enjoy it a lot. If you don't wash your hair every day, you will see and feel the effect for 3 - 4 days. Of course, this can be different for each hair type, but in my case it is. In addition, the smell is the same as you are used to from Olaplex, subtle, fresh and fruity. In short, I cannot imagine my bathroom without Olaplex number 8!
Use of Olaplex Number 8
See the picture below for the amount you should use per hair type.
Step 1: Make sure your hair is clean and towel dry.
Step 2: Apply the Olaplex No. 8 hair mask with your fingers from the middle of your hair and work towards the ends.
Step 3: Leave on for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Tip: For best results use this Olaplex hair mask in combination with Olaplex No. 4 Shampoo and Olaplex No. 5 Conditioner.
