The L'Oréal Professionnel Steampod 4.0 is the steam styler that lets you create any hairstyle from straight, waves or curly hair! The Steampod 4.0 has of course been upgraded from the Steampod 3.0. The first thing you notice are the Curl Locking Guides on the outside of the Steampod 4.0. These heat plates are gently heated to 100°C. By guiding your waves or curls over these plates, the waves and curls are better defined and will stay in shape longer. For straightening, you don't need these outer heat plates, which is why thermal protection caps are included so you can safely cover them when needed. The inner ceramic plates have also been improved! Namely, they are wider, which allows you to start straightening closer to the roots of your hair. This steam straightener now also has 3 interchangeable combs, for optimal results with your hair type. A fine-tooth comb for straight to wavy hair, an intermediate comb for curly hair and the wide comb for very curly to afro hair.

How to use the L'Oréal Professionnel Steampod 4.0

Straightening with the Steampod 4.0

• Step 1: choose the right comb for your hair type.
• Step 2: fill the water tank with demineralized water.
• Step 3: set the right temperature; 180°C for thin sensitive (colored) hair/200-210°C for thick natural hair.
• Step 4: place the thermal protection caps on the outer heat plates.
• Step 5: straighten the hair, making sure the arrows are pointing down.

Waves with the Steampod 4.0

• Step 1: remove the comb.
• Step 2: fill the water reservoir with demineralized water.
• Step 3: set the right temperature; 180°C for thin sensitive (colored) hair/200-210°C for thick natural hair.
• Step 4: style the hair strand by strand, making half turns to create waves. Use the outer heat plates to shape the waves with heat.
